SO many colors of gray…help!

Trying to decide on CertainTeed color for our family lake house. We share this house with our grown siblings and had wanted a medium gray siding. Sterling Gray looks too light and a bit on the blue side. Narrowed it down to Charcoal Gray, Granite Gray or Castlestone. Roof will be black. Windows and trim will be white.
Anyone have pics of their homes in these colors.

I love gray but why are you doing gray. I see some or brick can you post a pic of those choices ? Or is that shingle siding. I need more info . All the choices have to beconsidered since the facade is busy with all those gables .

The bottom will be horizontal lap siding and the top gables will be shingles. No brick on the house. Just lap siding and shingles.

I️ have to poll all 6 family members to decide on color since it’s just not up to me.

PIctures from other people will do you little good in making a decision.

The lighting in their pictures will be different from the lighting at your actual site.

The best way to make the decision is to see a sample of each option at your site, on the exterior wall. And the lighting that day needs to be typical (so don't go on a cloudy day if it is usually sunny, or vice versa).

And if you have to poll 6 family members, they need to attend the comparison, or they don't get to complain afterwards.

I know that will be a pain to pull together, but you know your family dynamics better than we do.

Since my husband and I️ are the only ones close to the property, I️ guess it’s up to us. The others are at least an 8 hour drive and one is disabled. I’ve looked at the colors in a sunny day but am driving there today and it’s cloudy so I️ can look again.

Update. Went to the house and looked at absolutely every color for CertainTeed and ruled out most. I️ think we are going with Herringbone which is a lighter greige (I️ color matched it to BM Edgecomb Gray) which actually have in my main house. Sterling was a contender but it looked too blue and blah. The front door will be painted a shade of blue (perhaps SW Upward or Aleutian). Similar to this pic. Hopefully.

Christine, your pic made me think of this Michigan lake house.
