You can use Minwax or Varathane stains if, you choose. You will want to seal the stain with a one component water base polyurethane such as Loba's Easy finish before applying Loba Supra AT. Skip the Easy Prime. Ciranova Pink Blocker is easier to use compared to Bona Red Out

It looks like Duraseal makes Weathered Oak in their QuickCoat formulation. I would choose that over Minwax or Varathane, since it's made specifically for flooring and should be compatible with any finish when used properly.

We might also skip the stain all together. My biggest concern is pairing Bona Red Out with non Bona sealant and finish.

You will be fine with Bona red out and other brands. Just to give you aheads up. Minwax and Varathane stains bleeds back. It's one of the reason why the product takes a long time to dry.
