Underwire situations. Waiting for the designers’ statement 😊.

Celebrities! They’re just like us! Wire popping, roots showing, we can relate.

I was wondering about those things sticking up. I think that's a wig with roots showing.

    That looks painful!

And roots showing is actually trending, I understand...

I only had one bra this happened with, it hurt! And tore my favorite lace blouse.

    She is so beautiful.

Roots showing is definitely a thing. I presume that was on purpose.

The underwire thing seems an unfortunate mishap. I despise underwires and haven't allowed any near me in decades. I do the best I can to hold things up, but in relative comfort...and if there is some sagging, well - apparently it is as G O D intended. Or something. No matter what I do, no one is going mistake me for Beyonce, so life goes on. Ha ha.

Unfortunately gray roots showing doesn't seem to be a trend. 😂

    LOL Terri.

There are lots of fashion things the rich, young, and toned can pull off. No one wants to see my flabby, darn-near 60 year old body in tight, low cut outfits. 😂

I am curious about the underwires (?) too. Can't imagine the dress disintegrating that quickly - but they do appear to be underwires poking her, and they're even showing at different lengths...clearly not a design feature. I also agree she looks weirdly squished in that area. It's strange.

I think Ive read more about her popping underwires than her Grammy!

I would assume that’s a bespoke gown but if so, why doesn’t it fit?

Still trying to understand the appeal of giant mammary glands. (Maybe the silicone ones are not as susceptible to thr pain of underwire pokes?)

Attire and undergarment infrastructure aside, I’m glad she won the Grammy that has eluded her.

I’m glad she won a Grammy too, as she’s a great entertainer, but for country album?? Have any of you listened to it? Just because you dress up in western stuff and have a horse on the cover doesn't make one a C&W singer.

I have not listened to it as I dislike country music and don’t particularly care for Beyonce’s music either. One writer in the NYT wrote that her country album was her way of daring the powers that be (whoever they are in that industry) to pass her over again for the award she and many believe was denied her on the basis of nothing more than racial prejudice. Several country albums have won the award and as her music has evolved she had covered all the other bases (pop, dance tunes, ballads, introspective, etc) and country was the only genre lacking in her repetoire. So she made a country album as if to say, what else do I have to do? According to the reporter who posited this theory.

I still love Edith Head's line: a dress should be tight enough to show she's a woman, but loose enough to show she's a lady.

Outside, I get it. All I know is... being around a lot of college kids and other crowds who listen to country music, they didn't play her songs. Probably not because they were all bad, just really wasn't popular at all. I only heard 'Texas Hold 'em' a couple of times on TV, on award shows. Lainey Wilson was the real winner. I didn't watch the Grammys, but wasn't shocked that it is unmerited and has been many times, if the truth be told.

Just like in the acting awards-Oscar's, Golden Globe etc. No one really takes any of them serious anymore. But, a reason they can all get dressed up and go to a party and get their name out more.

And regarding the smushed chest...it must be trending now. I've seen it quite a bit recently in celebrity circles. Not saying I like it (at least they are more covered), but I bet you will notice more now.
