Build.com is Fergusons online presence. I don't think you will find someone with a more extensive inventory or pricing structure for quality products.

I have never had an issue with HD for faucets they have lots to choose from all different qualities and easy to return if an issue . I shop Canadian HD so pretty sure US one similar .If the faucet you want is the same # from the factory it is the same quality .

Build.com, Faucet Direct, Faucet.com and possibly others are all Ferguson and all have under 2.0 rating. Why can't I find one with higher rating that has high quality faucets as good as faucets from Delta and limited lifetime warrenty? Just want to find the Delta Cassidy widespread venetian bronze bathroom faucet with cross handles as good of quality as the actual Delta site with same warrenty and return policy, and good customer service, just at a lower price.

Not sure where you are seeing these ratings or what they are based on. I have ordered loads of stuff from Build and had no issues, same with certain things from Home Depot.

I have called Delta and asked about any product difference and they stated that they do not make the faucets any different for the internal components. There are designs that are specific to them but if you are looking at a faucet on their website that is sold everywhere then it will be exactly the same quality.

So get the faucet from Depot - they seem to have the cheapest price ( you chose an expensive style and the most expensive finish ).

Local plumbing supply just as expensive as Delta when I looked up rating of build.com, consumeraffairs.com shows 1.1 rating and Trustpilot shows a 1.7 rating.

Your warranty is through Delta. If you have a damaged part - they send you one for free. Buy the faucet at Home Depot and enjoy it - SAVE your receipt.

Looking for an online plumbing supply store with quality faucets and good service. I have seen a lot of reviews saying build.com has horrible service, charges to return something, get wrong item and not what you ordered etc. Thee must be an online plumbing supplier that has same high quality faucet with better prices than the Delta site.

I’m not sure who writes the reviews…. There are always a spattering of negative reviews whether fraudulent or not. You really have to read them and then balance the information with common sense. For some reason negative reviews seem to hang in the front of our mind more than positive reviews. With all that said, I have bought no less than 50 items from build.com over the last 2 years since I’ve done a remodel. I have not had 1 item arrive late or damaged and this included some large furniture pieces! I’ve had a couple items that needed to be returned and the return process was extremely quick. I’ve had to call customer service a few times for help and was always able to get someone friendly on the line quickly. The selection at build.com is massive. I’m not sure what else anyone could want from an online retailer?? If you needed to see a faucet color in person, you can always go into a Ferguson showroom and hopefully they would have some model of it on display. Hope this helps

Always local. Maybe I’m blessed with a great independent store but their pricing comes in under or the same as build and they know how to ‘assemble’ a bathroom. I’d much rather sit in front of a human for an hour hashing out selections versus a screen. He says staring at a screen.

So what you want is a copy of a faucet to save money but want all the rest too. Not gonna happen and that is not what you asked for . IMO if you have really special needs you pay the price to get it that is how it goes.
