I'd like to change the window covering in my living room. I'm leaning towards sheer panels as I live in a rural area and would only keep them closed at night. I'm struggling with how I would hang a rod? There's barely any clearance from the window casing to the vaulted ceiling.

Any suggestions? Should I stick with blinds/shades?
