Is there a medicine cabinet that comes w/kit surface mount & recessed

Please tell me your experience with the mirrored medicine cabinets in your bathrooms.
We are trying to buy a full-length and two above sinks in a transitional modern farmhouse style.
We also want to buy mirrors that might be able to be installed either surface or recessed in case our walls will allow for recessed.
