!2' width does not allow for a n island that has any seating at it so for me no real advantage to going into the DR. I aslo bet that wall is load bearing so a steel beam will need to be installed . I can really not see what becomes of that LR /FR you have now since along narrow space is what you will have . I advise getting a good interior designer to really see what is logical for a floor plan But as I see it now no real benfit to waht you plan .I like 2 seperate spaces for entertaining so the set up you vae for the LR and FR makes sense to me To move the FR to the DR space gains nothing as far as function and does not make the kitchen really any bigger

The TV is in the Family Room with the sectional? I would leave it as is because you can watch TV from the kitchen.

The two side chairs in the Living Room could be swivels to fact the TV, the sofa, or the fireplace.
