Island pendants to compliment dining room chandelier - help

This is the dining room fixture.

These are the current island fixtures.

I would like to replace them. I don't like the shiny chrome.

Are any of these complimentary to the dining room light?

The second one, but how big are they?

While you're at it what about the sink wall pendants? I feel like I'd hate to have those unshielded bulbs right at eye level.

I also feel like you could simplify and have all recessed lights in the kitchen, where the ceiling is lower, let the high ceiling with dining chandelier be the star. Just something to consider!

Thanks rebasheba! I will have under cabinet lighting when the new cabinets are placed and then I will remove the pendants over the sink. I picked the clear pendants so there was less visual obstruction to the outside.
