Furniture layout help needed

Husband said yes to new furniture in this room. I’ve attached a to-scale drawing of the room with dimensions. This is our kitchen/dining/family room. It’s a more casual space. Sometimes a little too casual, but that’s a battle for another day.
I rearrange this room often and it does many configurations nicely, but I’m looking for suggestions in case I’ve missed something.
If I get new furniture, I’m thinking sofa with a couple of recliners and coffee table/ottoman. That’s what everyone wants to do in here, lounge watching tv.
Four people live in this house with the youngest being 18.
Neither the paint or carpet will change. We love this color and when I proposed a different color, it was a hard no.

I have additional photos I’ll add in the comments (fingers crossed), including another couch I already own, that I’m wondering if I can bring that upstairs as my new couch and then add recliners.

Here is another view from the corner of the room and the couch I already open that I’m thinking I could move upstairs.
The couch is not quite 7 ft long.

I'd start by painting over the orange walls. Select a LINEN like color instead.

Using an existing linen colored sofa seems like a great start.

Select recliners that will not overwhelm the small space.

I'd move the seating back further away from the TV a few feet. Block the walkway on that end of the island. It would be worth it to walk a few extra steps around.

Yes, paint orange walls the same color as the rest of the room. How many people use the room daily and how many guests do you want to accommodate?

Daily it’s three of us right now. We have a child that is grown living away from home until later this year.
Often it’s up to 10, but that’s not often.

Yes. It is a no. I know white and gray is all the rage, but we really love this color and the cozy it gives this room.
I chose this color on purpose because orange is my husband’s favorite color and although most wouldn’t think to incorporate a husband’s favorite color, I do because I think it’s endearing and I’ve always been drawn to the warm colors.
The other end of the room is actuality painted a linen color. A recent change from Beachcomber that it used to be painted, but we kept the orange in this end of the room because we like it so much.
I am really just looking for arrangement help and furniture scale so that when I go looking for furniture I’m not buying something out of scale for the room.
