Depends on how often you will use the shower. If often, I would spring for the glass.

For tubs/shower combos i always prefer curtains but for a walk in shower I always prefer glass.

For a tub I like a curtain. The tubs are often only 29 or 30" so you tend to elbow the glass a lot. I also like the decoration of the curtain - it adds color and pattern and can be changed throughout the year.

It sounds cheesy but I did that for a long time - seasonal curtains. I enjoyed it.

If this is a family bath that will have kids bathed in it, it's a no brainer-shower curtain. If it is in an adults only or master bath, then the doors.

Other things to consider…do you like sitting on the tub’s ledge (if your kids are small) and how do you feel about keeping the glass clean and shiny all the time.

Too modern farmhouse-esque so I'd definitely opt for a nearly floor length white shower curtain to cover up the high contrast grout and the ill-placed, prominent niche (niche looks like random leftover product since the hex doesn't relate to anything in the space).

For a tub/shower combo, go with a curtain. Glass for walk-in showers.

Select a full height curtain and a full height vinyl liner curtain.

If you prefer you can mount them on separate rods and only pull the vinyl curtain when using the shower.

Curtain for tub/shower combo. Hubby and I (empty nesters) lived in a place for nearly 3 years while our current house was being built, and all we had access to was a tub/shower combo with glass. Pretty sure my 6’1” hubby cursed it daily because it was awkward for him to get in and out of. I disliked always having to squeegee the glass and cleaning the tub was a much bigger hassle because I could only get to one side at a time. The dealbreaker came when our adult daughter came for a visit and broke her leg on the beach (in the ocean) while visiting. Trying to get the sand cleaned off of her after the trip to the emergency room was a Herculean effort and I never wanted to rip off a shower door so badly in my life while I just tried to help my daughter. (It wasn’t ours to rip off though.) Our house that we built has a very large double shower in the master with glass doors and a very low threshold, and our guest bathroom has a shower/tub combo with a shower curtain. I will never put glass on a shower/tub combo because of that ordeal my daughter had to go through, but also because I just prefer a curtain anyways.
