Love the piece with inset brass hardware. I would not add more yellow to your palette. Perhaps bring in a complimentary blue. Night tables do not have to match. I like night stands that are within g an inch or two of the top of your mattress. Makes teaching to set down coffee or water easier or books etc. If you like a level of symmetry then paint both units for night stands the same color and add a pillow to the bed with both your yellow/gold tones and some blues. That would create very nice overall unity. I can add some examples later today. Dinner ready for the table here!

Found a few quick ideas.

I would paint the nightstands. I changed my mahogany (read: dark) night stands to a creamy color that lightens up the whole room.

The wood dresser looks good. If you need to “jazz it up” find new knobs for it. Maybe ceramic ones. Or brass.

What color are the walls and do you like the walls? I'd paint the nightstands to match the walls so they blend in to the background. They are bulky pieces of furniture and it can be nice for the bed to be the star of the show. I'd live with the red chest in the mix for a while and see how you like it. Get pulls that are chrome to match the nightstands.

Here is board with two night stand options on color. With your dark headboard you can go in either direction. You could add a piece of marble to top of cabinet for lighter look too if you wish. A stone yard has small pieces they could cut to fit top of your nightstands. You could go black on night stands with black velvet pillow and lamps with black. All depends on direction you want to take.

If you must paint the campaign sides? I'd go to white. But sometimes a new house causes us to rush the decor.

We aren't seeing the entire room. Do you still love the curtains, the bedding? I would not paint the other chest at all. Unless that is a huge room? That is a lot of bulk in a bedroom, between the bed, sides and the dresser.
