Can you post a floor plan showing all dimensions including doors and windows? I'm just wondering if this is the best layout for your bedroom.. Is the bed size a double or queen?

I dont have a floor plan to show you. But opposite the bed is a bathroom door and then the entrance door. Its a very small room. The bed is a queen size bed.

Are you able to move the desk/vanity to a different location?

I think there are some issues.

At the very least I would place the vanity diagonally in the corner of the room.

Center the bed in front of the window, pull it away from the drapes so they hang freely.

If you can’t move the bed, definitely ground it with end tables on either side and an appropriate sized area rug. Make it look like it belongs there.

Move the vanity to the other wall and have matching nightstands with lamps.

Unfortunately I can't move the desk to the wall in front of the bed. BUT I can move the desk out of the room entirely. I think I will just have the bedroom be a bed and two nightstands.

No love for curtains? They will make the windows seem larger and more in proportion to the bed.

Looks like you use the desk as a vanity? I think it looks fine where it is and like how Beverly added the sconces. If you do decide to move it out, I would center the headboard on the wall and add draperies like this to make it look as if there is a bigger window:

Some people hang a sheer over the window with thicker draperies to the sides.

I would add a self closing feature to the bathroom door (or get in the habit of always closing the door) so your main view isn't the toilet area.
