Blueberry plant question, New England, Zn 5a

I have a few blueberry questions.

I have about 4 mature blueberry plants in a net cage (chipmunk and birds thwart) on the Southwest side of the house. They get about 6 hours of sunlight and do okay. Shade in morning, then pt sun, indirect sun, then maybe noon to sunset Full, hot blazing sun. We keep the watered and muclched. I used Epsoma ? fertilizer.

Last year I either grew from cutting or bought small plants. I cannot recall, but I left them on a garden bench, open to the elements and did not expect them to survive. I went to take a look and they are in quart pots, soil is damp and plants seem to have buds. I will try to snap pics when I can get back out there.

These photos are not of my plants, but the ones on the garden table outside look about this size. Not leafed out yet, of course.

Something came over me last week and I order more plants, but I think they were referred to as 1 or 2 year old ”plugs.” Maybe that was a poor

decision, because I don’t know that I am going to live long enough or live hear long enough to see them produce. Maybe I should have just order two older, larger plants.

About how long before I might see any berries?
