The candles should not be in a bowl. Place them on something flat.

I’m with grapefruit. I was thinking moss balls or round woven wood balls. To make more formal use shiny colored balls. They’d need to be small to fit all around the voids in the bowl around the candles.

IMO real csndles would never be in that bowl so think real and display as if they are real.. I like the idea of the flat plate or even some candle olders that are large enough. I would not do anything flammable it just makes them look even more fake.

I would use some kind of greenery.

I am mostly done with real candles and trying NOT to buy more stuff. I was able to cobble together some rustic doodles and scraps and bought a little filler from Amazon. I’ll post a picture when it’s ready, thanks for the help!!

Ooh if you’re on a farm you will have some natural things around that would be pretty - love the rocks idea, also leaves and dried pods etc

Either rocks or store bought colored pebbles. Change the colors with the seasons.

Another idea is pinecones. Or seashells.

Love pinecones. I just go outside and pick some up.

How about air plants? Easy to keep alive; just mist them once a week; then put the filled bowl on a flat rustic plate.

I had pine cones and silver bells in my winter arrangement, time to change it up!! I love the air plant idea, maybe I’ll get a couple.

A layer of pebbles underneath would give them some height.
