How would you organize this wall in the laundry room

Ideas for wall cabinet storage. I don't think I need more than three cabinets as I want a shelf for a little decor and a hanging clothes pole below it for the hand washables. The depth of the washer and dryer is about 32 in. which would make wall cabinets difficult to access without a step stool. I would love to put a very sturdy table to use as a counter platform next to the utility sink.

You could put an elfa narrow drawer stack next to the sink. It could hold all the little things you might need. You can get drawers of varying heights, you choose them, and choose the top.

How else do you use the laundry room? Just laundry? Or do you store other cleaning supplies, or household items like glue, light bulbs, polishing items?

A small laundry hamper next to the installed sink. I would lean my soaking apparel and i like a space next to top loading washer. Im a crazy laundry person. On uppers I will store cleaners, laundry soaps, some office supplies as that is my office on the other side of photo

With a narrow elfa unit, you could use bottom drawers as hampers, and a top drawer or two for dryer sheets, clothespins, stain sticks, etc.

PS, I like your utility sink, where did you get it? Do you like it?

I don't know how your house is organized but my hampers aren't in my laundry room. If this was my space, I would prefer to store laundry products and office supplies out of eyesight especially if this laundry room is shared with an office space.

My laundry room is between the garage and the kitchen. I put up an Elfa unit and it has ton of storage space. I went with the basic setup but you could make it look nicer with additional Container Store options.

This is how it look now while we are using the space as a temporary kitchen.

@AnnKH how deep were they? Standard 12" wall or more

Upper cabinets are usually approximately 12 inches deep.

Mine were 12" - standard upper cabinets. One set was purchased for cheap when a cabinet showroom relocated, and they unloaded their displays. The current set came with the house.

This was our old house. I added the small drawer underneath - it was perfect for owners manuals of all the things in the room (W/D, furnace, water heater, freezer)

How many inches is the length of that wall? Also, is it just an alcove area - or is there more area included in the laundry room? It just seems like you want to fit a lot of stuff on that one wall - which makes me wonder if there is any other space that can be used.

I'm trying to put a layout together for my laundry room. Currently, there is a 12' deep wall cabinet (30" wide) above the washer/dryer + a shelf with hanging rod that continues down an 11' wall. My plan is to add a small doggie shower (I may use a deep stainless sink + tile around it to protect the walls - my dogs are 11 lbs and 3 lbs).

On the opposite wall, I am adding a mudroom built-in - with a bench (not deep) and hooks + cubbies along the top. I think I'll have baskets for under the bench. I also am adding some wall mounted or drawer pull out drying racks. Lastly, I will run a countertop over the washer and dryer in order to have folding space.

I haven't decided if I will incorporate a closet that I have in the hall right outside the laundry room. I'm not sure I need it in the laundry room.

What are the dimensions of .your w/d and utility sink?

I have a total of 97" .. 24" sink The depth of the W/D is 32" from the wall (there is ducting and the hose lines that take up extra space on washer). I need to make sure the upper cabinets are reachable.. PLUS the washer is TOP loading. I am aware that 12" is standard for wall cabinets. Should I get deeper ones?

    @dani08

Here was our doggie shower solution. If you have a shower that isn't used often (this is our basement shower which hasnt been used maybe ever), this is a great option.

I have the same blank wall but its all tiled so although it would be nice to have a shelf above the machines i decided against it. I put decorative laundry wall art on the wall and to the side wall added garage type shelving for detergent etc. cloth baskets for cleaning and the like, and to store any extra pots from kitchen. I don’t have a sink there though so its is nice you have one :)
