Gutters get painted all the time.

A light sage or olive green would go with your brown trim and gutters. If your roof needs any repairs, it's best to do that before you paint. After you paint, it looks like your next most urgent need is for some new landscaping.

Question - what exposure is the front of your house? The front exposure is the most important - is it north/south/east/west? Remember - when you look at paint for the exterior of your home, it will always look lighter on the exterior than it would if you used the same color on the interior of your home.

Many people are surprised by how different a paint color looks on the exterior - when I built a house many years ago, the first time I saw it painted, I was shocked! The gray paint that I selected for the exterior walls looked extremely light - I was not happy. FYI - this was before there was so much information on the internet re: selecting paint colorsI

my daughter just painted her house SW Pewter Green. It looks really nice.

Here is SW Pewter Green on a house that is similar to yours - as you can see in the photo, SW Pewter works with brown (if you don't want to paint your gutters and/or repaint your trim):

    SW Evergreen Fog:

    SW Eclipse:

    SW Thyme:

    SW Retreat:

    SW Forestwood:

The next photo below is also SW Forestwood:

Here are the color strips for Pewter Green and Evergreen Fog. The colors below are all pretty greens - from light shades to dark shades.

I don’t understand the issue. Green is PERFECT with brown.

It's not an issue just trying to pick the right shade of green and I've been racking my brain for the last month and a half.. and we had already bought paint for the trim which is brown that matches the gutters that's all not really an issue just trying to decide on the right shade of green but some of the Sherwin-Williams greens are ones that are on my faves list so far .. and for the landscaping it's my dog yard the picture you're seeing and we had any septic system put in 2 years ago and unfortunately the new leach field is right in front of my house and my dogs keep trying to attack the ground and a tremendous holes I'm trying to figure out a problem for that one too they've already killed a couple of my plants that were in front of the house

Dogs digging and attacking to stir up a stink sounds like Democrats so paint them yeller and allow them to be Yeller Dog Democrats.
