I really need help figuring out how to make this privacy fence look better. I’m in the process of redoing my backyard and adding a bunch of garden beds up against the fence, but the privacy fence itself is a challenge. I want to keep it because otherwise, I’d be looking straight into my neighbor’s backyard, but I don’t have access to take any of it down. Right now, there’s metal running across the top, and then there’s that wood trellis section in the middle. I’m trying to figure out how to make it look nicer—maybe cutting out the wood pieces so it’s just metal at the top, but I’m not sure if that would improve it or make it worse. I know climbing plants could make it look pretty, but since I’m already putting vegetable garden beds in front of it, I’d rather have something that looks uniform and clean all year round. I’d love any ideas on how to cover or improve it!
