Which of the Brindabella Series of roses do you like the best?

Habit of compact bush shape and restrained growth, but abundant flower output are important among these beauties. I lean towards Purple Prince, but is there one of the seven Brindabellas that is better?

I grow Purple Prince and think he’s terrfic, excellent bloom and great fragrance. Friends in humid areas tell me blackspot resistance is among the best.

I also grow Brindabella Touch of Pink, very fragrant but has been largely crowded out by her neighbors.

Regarding Purple Prince......acquiring this rose, my first choice unless directed otherwise, is pending a Home Depot online purchase, home delivered, when the weather gets a bit more agreeable in regards to the currently expected, frequent night time freezes.

Dragging inside the rose bush overnight during such events is a chore I would like to not have to do. Then there's the possibility of Purple Prince or its better choice among its 7 varieties, Brindabella line, suddenly going out of stock at Home Depot, later on then, when the weather moderates. Home Depot does not offer a choice of delivery date. You place you rose order and it's shipped ASAP. I'm targeting a mid to late April purchase, which is just 3 or so weeks off.

I’ve only grown two. Purple Prince is a tough rose and has kept a nice compact shape for me. I tried Dawn, but it died on me. I have no experience with the others.

This is not a great picture and as you can see by the turning tree lleaves, it was late in the season, but sharing it because it is a bush shot and gives a sense if the growth habit. It is very fragrant, blooms well, and is moderately thorny.

Just don’t expect it to be purple.

Thank you, Markay. The color is fine by me. I would call it a vibrant mauve. I assume it fights black spot, but at the level of a Knock Out is my question. What do you say?

My neighbors knockouts looked worse for sure! Last year was very dry and things were stressed. Purple Prince lost some lower leaves and got a bit leggy looking as a result, but it maintains vigor and pushes out new leaves quickly enough so it never looks too defoliated.

The only one available locally last year was Crimson Knight, but I'm glad that one made it here. It's much closer to burgundy in cooler temps (though pinks out in the heat) and it's a steady bloomer. I bought one then two more on clearance sales and it fits into several color schemes in the garden. It's a steady bloomer and healthy foliage. I consider it a keeper and am on the lookout for more Brindabella roses.
