My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

In Minnesota lake country doing a new build...

1 level slab on grade with loft ~ 3500 sq ft home with attached garage...trying to decide between Diamond Kote and steel Board & Batten style exterior siding...which material makes the most sense for low maintenance & holding up to our harsh elements. Aesthetically speaking, the steel has come a long way! Does one significantly out perform the other in terms of R value, with proper sound proofing will the steel feel just as cozy inside? Anyone have any insight?
