We are looking to add an extension to the side of our house - has to be on side because we want a 20ft shuffleboard table.

We dont want too many windows on the side facing our neighbors so I was thinking to put a stone wall with electric fireplace and some wall paneling on the side. Then we’d have full windows facing the front and back of our house.

We didn’t want the tv to be the main focal point so I was thinking of just a console to one side of the room (sun rises on that side so we wouldn’t get much glare during peak use). We thought about moving shuffleboard to the opposite wall but didn’t want that to be the first thing you see when you walk in. Also figure we could get a tv that rotates a bit so you could see while playing.

Also will be 10ft ceilings and thinking of vaulting the front/back areas where the windows are. But open to suggestions.

How would you design this room differently? Anything else to consider? Pic attached if you don’t mind my chicken scratch sketching :)
