Lose the two sets of shudders, and remove the plastic arch inserts on the garage doors if possible- way to busy for the modern ranch lines of the home.

I like the present color, but a blue would also look nice.

all these pics have the colors set of of a lush green yard, which would make a difference. Tho I know that's harder to achieve in drought areas, but it's possible with water wise and artificial plants.

IMO you have a MCM ranch style and it looks like you do not like that style . So what style do you like ? If MCM was the plan then remove the shutters get a new front door and garage door and work on the lndscaping . I am not fond of the green on the house IMO a darker color would be better but we need info from you .This is my fave for inspiration if you want to go MCM look , these homes look best when you do not try to make them something they are not .

Is your yard colorful and pretty in other seasons? If no, I’d keep the house a green or blue shade. No shutters needed. Work on an easy to maintain landscape plan that’s appropriate for your climate and water situation.

If the house is white, it will be quite stark and bright. Consider a not-bright white. A blue would be pretty, bring the sky in, but not too saturated, bright, or strong. You might want to be aware of the earth-toned or natural houses around you.

I think I would do something fun with the setback area - maybe a mural, then choose the house color to complement.

I might go with a purplish blue for the body of the house ti complement the gray roof.
