Ben, Those are 2 amazing roses! Thanks for the video. Golden Budha is a beautuful golden apricot ever blooming rose-love him! Tempting with that fruity fragrance! Grey Pearl is a little gem with her grey-purple, pink, and golden hues. I’d love Grey Pearl but she is a mini which isn’t hardy enough for my winters. What a magnificent mini ”like a real pearl,” in coloring!

That Golden Buddha bloom is beautiful, but Elon may have stolen the show ;)

It's exciting to see so many Little Grey Pearls go out into the world, and I'm looking forward to seeing how everyone's does.

Elon thanks everyone for the compliments, lol! He has a habit of wandering into my videos, after all he is the main attraction.

I rushed over and was able to order Golden Buddha. It has been on my wish list for a long time and I thank you for the heads up!

Keep us posted with photos of it’s blooms? I am very excited to see it perform. If it often has blooms like the RVR photo-English shape & that profuse of blooms then I’d love to order one! Love it’s golden-peach colors! Exquisite! Enjoy!

Oooo! Lucky score! I tried to get Golden Buddha years ago, but they sent me a Geschwind rose instead, and I should have kept it but did not. Live and learn.

Golden Buddha is incredibly beautiful, both here and on HMF. I don't think this rose ever has a bad hair day. I'm taken by the fact that the leaves in contrast to the blooms are smaller; that makes the bush look very dainty. Good job, Ben, also in that others got to have a chance at this rose because of you.

Ben, thanks for the video. I hope Rogue Valley can continue to provide so many of us with beautiful roses!

I grew Little Grey Pearl some years ago, and failed with it. Little Grey Pearl struggled under my care. It was a weak grower for me. Most minis are black spot prone here, and spider mites here are also hard to control on them. The bloom color is intriguing in photos, and as a cut flower in a little vase, lots of charm, but outside the blooms could look dull.

If anyone can get Little Grey Pearl to outdo itself and shine, it's you, Ben!

I think Windowsill grows a lovely Little Grey Pearl in his apartment near NYC. He also grows everything from figs to DA roses on his windowsill. Diane

    Markay

That Golden Buddha looks so happy at your place. I have found the variety to be a heavy bloomer, a pleasant surprise.

    Diane

I’d love to see @windowsill_gardener’s Little Grey Pearl, and agree he has an amazing windowsill garden.

    Moses,

Little Grey Pearl like my California weather, he’s tripled his size since I got him. I’ll have to snap some pics next time he flushes.

Ben, I think our much missed Lisa Adams grew a beautiful Golden Buddha near her front door. I'd love to see her comment on this. Diane

I think Lisa’s Golden Buddha was the first I’d seen. I miss her cat Millie too!

    I do miss them both.

If my memory serves me well, Lisa also grew Little Grey Pearl. She was growing it in a square planter balanced uniquely upon (?), another of the same proportions. Was it her dad and me who helped her with her logistics in getting the planters centered uniquely? I think so. What a special spirit Lisa always radiated! A rare gift!

I think Cori Ann grew LGP also.

Ben -- I can't wait to see your LGP when it flushes. Mine hasn't put on nearly that much size, but I can say it's 100% unfazed by being indoors and is not a rose I have to fuss over at all. In fact, it probably needs the least attention of all my roses. Here are some pics of it from this summer.

    Windowsill,

Your lLittle Grey Pearl is so perfectly healthy, clearly it like that windowsill!

    Vap

Yes, I remember Cori-Ann planted LGP in her vegetable garden an it looked so special.

I went out to my garden to check on my new Barden plants.

Little Grey Pearl has extra healthy growth, I counted 26 buds and bloom (in 3 gal pot): Color is lavender grey with green beige center, most unique

Golden Buddha has a total of 30 bud/bloom, the little blooms have an amazing intense apricot scent (also in 3 gal pot, probably needs an upgrade)

And while we’re talking Paul’s roses, here’s the 1st blooms from Marianne in spring

Ben, your LGP is gorgeous and absolutely loaded wuth buds, though I’d expect no less from you! I’m rather obsessed with Golden Buddha and Marianne, as well.
