I never buy desks, I buy dining tables. Mine is an oak dining table from ikea. Great price, solid, and a nice big surface for multiple monitors (and piles)

I looked into that too. But look at the size of this teeny room. Dining tables are at least 30” wide.

If there is room in the hallway, I would see about having the door swing out to give you more space in your room.

If you don't want to face a wall, you're kind of sunk since there are no windows and no room to place the desk in front of the door. Maybe think about installing a mural on one wall that gives the illusion of looking at something other than a wall.

Anyone consider or have experience with diagonal placement of the desk, that way I would still be able to access my window ( it wd be behind me) to see the front room, and not facing the wall...?

Lisdev i need to be able to see the adjoining room once in a while.

Only issue w thw diagonal facing desk is the back of my monitor and those cords wd be visible. Blech.
