    Some option

Left Floor Lamp (Slim Drum Shade) – Similar Styles:

CB2 – Mantis Swivel Floor Lamp

West Elm – Overarching Floor Lamp (Simple Drum)

Right Table Lamp (Glass or Transparent Base) – Similar Styles:

Pottery Barn – Camila Glass Table Lamp

Crate & Barrel – Clea Glass Table Lamp

Target (Threshold Studio McGee) – Glass Base Table Lamp with Drum Shade

they are too dark for the table/sofa. a drum shade is a great choice, but in a lighter color too.

The rose chairs would be prettier together as a conversation spot, with the current end table between. You might find a different end table for the sofa? the chest as a coffee table?

The taller dramatic cabinet at the end of the room with a lamp and framed art. the pictures should be centered eye level

I like the lamps you have selected. I think they could be placed in better locations.

The artwork is hung WAY TOO HIGH AND RANDOM.

I would start with lowering at the art on the walls, it's all hung much too high. Then I would bring the 2 armchairs forward to create a conversation area. Install curtains on the windows with natural fiber roman shades together or consider one or the other.

As for the lamps I wouldn't go too matchy matchy, I suggest you consider a task floor lamp. The 2 lamps shown are from Lamp Plus. You probably could consider more lamps in the room as I cannot see any other lighting in your 2 pictures.

I agree, fhe artwork needs to be rearaanged and im thinking i should return the lamps and go with something else. maybe a lamp with an antique brass finish? not sure if a white shade will look nicer, thoughts?

i am also looking for end tables too. the end table shown is not for rhis room. any sugegstions on what kind of end tables will go with thus look? i can remove rhe cabinet in between the chairs if it does not go with the room.

Should i do glass table lamps on bith sides of rhe sofa?

also, for end , would a wood end table look nice? or should i opt for glass as wel.

    some options i was thinking:

    anton table- west elm

    calla end table- west elm

thank you everyone for your time and suggestions.

The shade on the lamp doesn't have to be a pure white, it can be an soft off-white colour. For any suggestions on tables we need to see more of the furniture you plan to keep in the room, we only really see the sofa. Also tell us if there's anything you're willing to relocate to another room. In other word, we need all pertinent information and context to give you valuable suggestions and not do this in bits and pieces.

Yes, buy a coffee table first.

Why? Because after you spend !!! on end tables you may not even need? You will STILL need the anchoring effect of the coffee table! and all you really need are standing lamps next to the sofa.

Move the chest to between the front windows. Move the chairs. Move your art, and get one nice, bigger piece for over the sofa.

Add curtain panels.....and at least one more TABLE lamp

Imagine: one table/lamp, coffee table. chairs pulled in and contemporary lighting and note shade‘s soft color.

Here are the items that will stay.

    the brown sofa

    the red chairs

the green/blue cabinet in the middle of the chairs

the chest on the other wall with the antique door

artwork is not my favorite but i have it for now.

i am wondering if i should do end tables on each sode of rhe sofa with table lamps. If so, what kind of end tables. im confused.
