I'd do a search online for "quartz similar to Et. Calacatta Gold" and ask your designer or contractor for estimates using a few of those options. It depends on sales, fabricators and their contracted pricing with the suppliers, etc.

I think MSI is cheaper than the major quartz players (Cambria, Caesarstone, etc), but most of the complaints we see about quartz, on these forums, are for MSI products. Buyer beware.

Consider Formica.

Nothing budget imitation is worth owning. Do something else if you cannot afford a first quality quartz. Buying cheap costs way more in the end when it doesnt hold up.

Have you priced out your tops already? Somethings the cost savings from one brand to another may not be as substantial as we want given slab size, layout.

Sorry you want a cheaper choice to look like another fake stone plastic counter. Kind od like a better fake diamond still fake . Do laminate if fake is what you want and you need to save money.

I would definitely look at laminate. There are some very nice countertops these days.
