I will chime in on the landscaping. IMO, there is currently twice as many things growing there than should be. Especially in the bed adjacent to the driveway. The eye needs a place to rest and some simple areas dirt/mulch/grass are much needed.

if you reroofed with a standing seam metal roof, it would heighten the look.

I would choose a color similar to the brick so it all blends. Replace the garage door with a windowed door, something of a statement.

Cedar shakes look great on the vertical part of a mansard roof. If that's what you have and the roof is in decent shape, just get them cleaned.

I think the greenery is the best thing going for this house. It helps detract from the wonky architecture and makes it all feel a bit more organic together.

Take a cue from the landscape. Paint doors a dark green-black. Add a tall cypress to the left of the garage. Get some large planters built for the second floor windows so they don't feel so hollow and vacant. If you don't live somewhere warm with year round green, replace 1/3 of your landscape with evergreens.
