Hi!

We need suggestions w/ furnishing our 3 season sunroom as it's almost finished.

-Painters coming today- we're keeping the only wall dark and in the blue family w/ Benjamin Moore Bold Blu 2064-10.

-Floor installation 1st week in June- Aduramax Acacia Tigers Eye.

Our wants: a comfy sofa- preferably with chaise or smaller sectional, two comfy swivel chairs, coffee table, small side table, shoe rack near the entrance door (from outside deck) a low cabinet or small buffet for storage of dishes, galsses, games, etc., not too big pub table w/ 4 chairs- round is preferred.

Ideas, anyone?

It sounds nice. Get a large square coffee table you can use for your games, puzzles, cards etc. Maybe a couple of small ottomans you can pull up to it while playing.

I think you know what you need so how can we help? I think a dark wall in a sun room will fade quickly but as far as choices for the rest we have no idea of you style .Vinyl plank and direct sun are not ideal so get some solar shades on those windows for sure . I dislike sectionals always and with a chaise even worse. But I need info as to style for any real help with selection of actual furniture.

    Thanks, All!

I appreciate your comments and will send a better pic/jpeg soon.

As to style-we really don't know what we want. Inside, our home is a mix of comfy traditional with a touch of mid-century modern, and a dash of contemporary.

We do want the 3 season room to be relaxing, inviting and a place to chill, read, eat, nosh, and play games when the young adult kids are around during the seasons we can use it.

We think breaking the room into 2 separate sections so to speak, w/ a pub table area at the end closest to the door near the deck (and the grill), along with a shoe/coat rack and small console for storage?

The opposite end (no outside door) will be the more chill/lounge/conversation area w/ the sofa, chairs, rocker, maybe a few ottomans and coffee table? Small side tables, a few plants (we're surrounded by trees) and taht's it. We don't want it crowded, but we do want comfort, as we plan to be out there as much as we can this summer, fall and late spring.

We're honestly so overwhelmed that we don't know where to begin.

The one thing we both agree on is we do want Sunbrella fabric for the sofa, AND... we don't want wicker, or outdoor patio furniture- though we did check out Chicory, but are not sold on their products.

    Whew!

    Thanks again.

A house I loved had a large sunroom with french doors from the LR, and of course a door to the yard. They had a wrought-iron table on one side, usually there were six chairs pulled up to it with two more in reserve. The other side had a rectangular coffee table with a sofa and two chairs on three sides, and end tables for the sofa. It really made for a nice entertaining space, or just chatting. The middle was open to allow free passage from LR ro sunroom spaces and to outside.

The first step is to create a floor plan with exact measurements and structural components and play around with configurations. Your main seating’s size/location will determine the style and placement of the rest. Hard for anyone to provide suggestions given the variables.

A lighter shade may have been easier to work with.

"We're honestly so overwhelmed that we don't know where to begin."

Any decorating project begins with a floor plan. As was stated previously, you need to draw up a plan on graph paper, with the sizes of all walls, windows and doorways. Note any adjacent rooms. Only then can anyone figure out the layout and sizes of furniture.

Get a long measuring tape, graph paper and pencils--that's where you start. Then post it here with photos.

Aluminium furniture is lightweight and sturdy. Instead of a rocker, consider a porch swing. Why a pub table? You either have to stand or sit on tall chairs that won't let you stretch your legs out.
