Looking for Handheld Shower Head & Hose Reccomendations

Hi, I want to get a new handheld shower. My setup is just the hose and the handheld shower which acts as both the fixed and handheld showerhead. There is no separate fixed showerhead. I'm ideally looking for:

- An all metal construction. Head and hose.

- Premium, long lasting brand with good warranty and support

- I'm in CA so less that 1.8 GPM

- Shower modes is a plus but not a mandatory. Ability for good water pressure is.

- Good size head diameter for maximum flow.

- I have an issue with hard water if that is at all helpful

I'm willing to pay for something quality. But not absurd. I was looking at the following brands and models. I wanted to know if anyone new anything about these or had any experience with them. Or even had any suggestions of their own that I might consider for either other brands or models within the listed brands:

Hansgrohe Pulsify S - Great brand. I don't know how this compares to the others listed. Good diamater. It says its plastic, but I'm unclear if that only refers to the face? Or the body as well? No hose.

Grohe Rainshower 3 - Also seems to be a good brand. Do not know which is better between the two in terms of quality and support. Also good diameter.

Perrin & Rowe Deco Incline - not sure about this one. It seems to be a high end brand that focuses solely on a vintage asthetic. It's one setting so I'm not sure about the pressure or flow. And it's only a 3 inch diameter. Might be more of something supplemental for a bath or a second handheld for a a shower than a primary head.

Rohl Multi Function Handheld Shower Head - I don't know too much about this brand. I don't know why I was looking at this head in particular. But they seem to have a few heads. Even thoug this comes with an arm bar—with a lever on it—I don't know if I need that lever or if I can just skip and only use that parts relevant to me and that will work fine. Mostly looking to see if this is a good brand and if there are suggestions for heads that work for my needs?

Brizo Levoir & Brizo Kintsu - Same as above. I don't know if this will work given the arm bar, faucet setup. Or if I can just use the hose and head and ignore the rest. I don't know a ton about Brizo other than it's Delta's premium brand.

Riobel - Also want to know if this is a good brand.

I am in CA, also. I chose CalFaucets for my next shower -- delivered, but not installed yet, so no experience to report.

I chose these items:
- Handheld showerhead: multifunction (rain, air, massage), 1.8 GPM, 4-1/8 inch diameter head, Model# HS-073.18, all-brass construction
- Hose for the handheld: all-brass, no-kink hose, 68 inches long, HS-68
I considered the lighter-weight CF handheld showerhead with a plastic (ABS) body: Styleflow 2-5/8 inch multifunction (rain, hard rain & booster massage), Model# HS-323.18.

CalFaucets fittings are assembled in CA (from global parts) and are plated in Huntington Beach, CA. As an aside, if you go to their website, watch their YouTube videos .

In my other two bathrooms, I have Hansgrohe showerheads, which are less expensive and have some plastic parts. They work well, but I did purchase them before the more restrictive water flow rules were put in place.

Star craft is a fanastic website. Totally independent reviews of faucet manufacturers. I know you are not looking for a faucet but they give company background and info on all of the manufacturers you are interested in. (I've never heard good things about Hansgrohe or Ghohe from plumbers or designers. It seems like something people buy for the name and not for the actual quality.)

I too only want to purchase something constructed of all metal. But I learned that most handhelds are not. Because they are not fixed and swing around, a heavier metal piece can easily crack tile if it falls you of your hand.

I'm in love with speakman shower heads. Best pressure ever. They make great sold metal construction heads. I was bummed to learn their hand helds were all plastic, but they have such great customer service and return policies that I decided to go for it. Such great hand held. Wonderful pressure, easy to clean, they don't get gunked up or caked up. I now have three of them - one for each bathroom.
