Being creative, I'd do more to get the view into the space. That means replacing the window with another wider patio door including some of the wall going to the right of the existing window. Put tv low on the wall or minimal console between the patio doors. An extra deep 'L' sectional with big ottomans and maybe a chaise would be a preferred choice for lounging against the wall opposite the fireplace. This first one reversed. A long deep couch with ottomans going towards the fireplace. No chairs. This isn't a living room.

The way to place around with different pieces of furniture and configurations is to start with a large sized scale layout of the room. Then cut out different couches, etc. to scale. Put them in your layout and move things around. Contact Lexington for help picking US made stuff. Link.

With tv over fire OR PERHAPS between slider and window. You need to provide allll the dimensions.

How many need to see a tv, who is in the family? Kids. no kids?

I would be VERY no on a sectional in any scenario. Very no on literally swallowing the room in upholstery that will lock you in with one only arrangement for the life of the upholstery, or be stuck with armless pieces

Tv or no tv? How many need to sit....and no matter what, define it, give it a visual "waistline"........ rug, furniture, lighting etc noted
