No shutters and as for anything else the pic is not helpful . I need to see the brick up close the mrtar ususally is not a driving force in the exterior choices . I do not like french doors for entry . This is a ranch home do not mess too much with it. I would do a nice MCM door with side light instaed of that entry , That would set the style for the rest of the exterior . So what style do you WANT for this nice ranch. It looks like you have a fairly large overhang typical of that style of house and usually that overhang keeps the summer sun off the windows . I love MCM style so of course tend to go in thta direction with this style of house. THis is what I would be striving for

Thank you everyone. Patricia, your depiction is lovely, and personally I keep my eyes open for mid-century homes in my area... but the formality of this ranch is one of the things that drew me to it; so different!

We have that white brick and I love it. Hubby was upset when the plumber used grey mortar to replace a couple bricks around a faucet repair. So I got some house paint to match the bone mortar and touched up the grey mortar. You also could repoint the mortar joints with tile grout but I think the brick looks fine. You can do Country French, Hill County Ranch or MCM by the style and color of your shutters and door. The jack on jack stacked brick pattern is very MCM, and any color will look good against the white brick.
