The colored rug is much more attractive and homey, the beige just blends into your floor and adds nothing. That said the red rug fits too well- you need the next size smaller if possible.

You are asking us to choose between a rug that is a bit large for the space and a dinky door mat!

Can't say that I particularly care for your choice of rug or mat but if you want a rug consider a runner.

IMO the runner at the entry is the entry to your home so what are the rooms next to this in color scheme? I agree ther ed is too large and the beige just blah a runner type much better for sure.

Agree with the above feedback on rug size and choice.

The bottom of your front door looks like it meets the foyer flooring (I do not see a threshold). If that’s the case, check whether your door will open with a rug in front of it.

I think foyer rugs look good. But I have never found a good way to secure them so someone doesn’t slip/trip over them.

The red with the yellowish walls is not attractive IMO.

The smaller rug is too similar to your flooring. Better to go with a rug with more color as others have suggested.
