Induction cooktops - Fisher and Paykel, Wolf, GE vs Miele?

We're considering several different 36 inch induction cooktops and I cannot figure out which will be the most reliable and easy to use despite my research. I am concerned about ease of repairs with F&P and Miele. I like the layout of the Wolf but wonder if it's really worth the added cost. Any recommendations for against these would be a great help!

We replaced a Wolf gas cooktop with a Bosch Benchmark induction last year. No complaints. We liked being able to use a griddle on the flexible zone. It’s a lot cooler in the kitchen cooking with induction. Bosch was CRs highest rated induction cooktop, so there’s that recommendation.

Thank you! I saw the ratings and have been tempted - I was concerned that I'd struggle to get used to toggling between the burners with the Bosch. That was my main concern.

We like our GE induction cooktop. No issues with it.

I have the old Wolf 36” (10 years old) in my main residence. I like the hob layout with large hob on the right. I also like the separate controls for each hob. Their new model now has a new interface where I think you select the hob and then the power level. Not sure I am a fan. I would likely replace this cooktop with a full surface induction cooktop (right now that would be Thermador) when its time.

I recently installed a 30” GE profile induction cooktop in a second home. The GE has separate controls for each hob and also can use the hestan cue smart cookware - you can cook at a precise temperature versus power level. It came with a incentive of a free pan. Not sure how much I will use it but the hestan is a very nice pan. Too early to tell on reliability as it was just installed a couple of months ago. So far no compaints - I like having the additional power levels at the lower range. Not sure the bridge feature works as well as the wolf or the bosch. Its not a feature I use often.

I recently bought a Bosch induction cooktop. I was also concerned about that "pick a hob before you change the setting" but all things considered I decided Bosch was the best option for me. To be honest I do struggle a bit with that type of control - sometimes adjusting the wrong hob because I forgot to pick the right one but the mistake is immediately apparent and correctable so no harm done. I haven't had it that long and I expect I will get used to it in time. I would not change my decision based on this issue as I do like everything else about it. I chose the more expensive model to get the flexible zone so I'd have more options for large pans it I really like this feature - for an oval dutch oven for example. I use an electric griddle so I don't use it for that purpose.

We did a complete kitchen remodel in a previous home and I went all out on appliances including a Wolf gas cooktop, top of the line Miele dishwasher, etc. They were fine but since then I've purchased less expensive appliances and I've been satisfied and happy to have saved a few thousand $. The one exception is a recent SubZero fridge purchase - best option to fit into a poorly designed space for a refrigerator. I do love that thing.
