You are not really considering a shag area rug for a business office.

The photos you are looking at -old and before painting. However; may not matter based on comment. I was thing a low shag for texture. Guess not 🙃

Will you be seeing clients in your office? If so I wouldn't do shag, but if it is a home office do what you like.

I bought a shag carpet for my office - have not renovated the office yet, but saw what I wanted and figured it might not be available by the time I got to renovations. (Renovating the whole home - one room at a time.)

a 4x6 rug isn't worth the effort, get an 8x10, it's a statement piece, sets the tone for the room.

I would prefer a border print, low pile.
