No, the light isn't centered in the tray ceiling... I'm hoping to center it when we replace the light fixture. I want to do a rectangular table and large rectangular rug... this furniture is from our old house.

The screen blocks off a desk. It's our second working space in the house and the only place it can go unfortunately.

I think it’s hard to get a sense of the room with the existing furniture and off centered light fixture - I wonder if you uploaded a diagram that shows room measurements as well as any openings, that might help
