The kidney shaped pool shouldn’t be what’s driving the couch’s shape unless you want it located in a curve next to the pool and space/set up allows.

Where will the couch and potentially chairs be placed, what space availability is there, how will the fire pit be integrated, how much seating is required. Consider your overall needs and the backyard’s flow to help with your decision.

The image was regarding the pool’s design with no reference to the seating. If you Google curved outdoor couch (or seating) there are lots of options with a wide array of price points. FYI, I searched Pinterest and noticed Wayfair has a lot of choices. You may though have to be flexible with matching shapes/sizes (if even available).

I agree exactly with what Maureen is saying. The shape of the furniture shouldn't be the only determining factor of shape.
