Would you be willing to share why you think Portmore is a very poor choice for a shower? And do you have a white-ish tile with character that emmulates a zellige that you like?

Patricia likes LFT tile in bathrooms - so, large sizes (12x24) - and runs it on the bathroom floor + up the shower walls. I highly doubt that she likes any zellige tiles - especially for a shower.

Does Portmore have some glossy + some matte tiles? I'm trying to remember.

There are many tiles that are the same but offered by different retailers. Many of them are actually manufactured by Equipe Ceramicas.

If post the tile + specs, I might be able to remember one that is the same that has edge trim.

Sotirms out theres a bullnose for the 3x 8 but not for 4 x 4 which im using in thw second bath reno. The 3x 8 bull kse wont work on the 4 x 4 IDI

MY thoiught always for bathrooms is first how to clean all the surfaces and any tile with texture of any type is not going to stay clean with a squeegee so hand washing the walls will truly be a daily job for no reason . There is nothing wrong with 2 tiles on a back wall of a shower that I can think of . The fewer grout lines the better IMO . I will admit I do not like Zellige type tile in the shower too much texture .

I brought in a 12x24 into my shower (48” back wall, and 36” side walls) and couldnt figurenout how to lay them ao there wouldnt be a vertical grout line right in the middle of back wall, OR, if staggered, be alot of small pieces everywhere at the edges. this felt a little janky. Do you by any chance have an opinion of best way to lay 12x24? id like to approach contractor with knowledge so he doesnt decise for me!

If you do a stacked tile layout horizontal with matching grout this is the best way IMO
