Remove columns and header .

It would be helpful to see a scaled drawing including where your current sink is located. Maybe just add measurements to the floor plan you have and where the sink is located, plus how far it is located from walls.

Are you planning on using your dining room as a dining room?

I tried to upload more photos which have the measurements superimposed but couldn’t upload them- working on figuring that out. As for the dining room , it’s not imperative that it stay the dining room.

That wall in between the dining room and kitchen has the switches for lighting and livingroom fan, alarm and doorbell all on that side (LR is left side of photo).
I don’t love upper cabinets, so if I could figure out how to create the work triangle and take that wall out, I would. That said , if the back wall is 13’10, and I’d like the cooktop with a hood to center focus then I’ve still gotta find room for the other tall items like pantry, wall oven, and fridge.
I’m sure the answer is probably right there but I just don’t see it.
