Cacti blooms open up just a quarter and closes

Hi, I do have 40 degrees celsius. Is it therefore my cactus has opened up the bloom just a quarter to give me a glimpse of the beauty within?
I do watee once in 3 weeks maybe, water runs out the pot. Almost no soil, but pumice, zeolith and so on. This cactii I have for one year. This was the first blom. It justed opened and closed 2 day long. Now it is dry or somewhat? What happened? I do have one more in bloom, am afraid will be the same issue.. Did fertilize just once sone weeks ago as I saw buds developing. Was this wrong? Shall i fertilize more? But then I have to water more often. Is it too hot? Any hints? Thanks

Cactus blooms are usually short live and blooms that do not fully open can happen as well,(cerrtainly with Gymnos). In your case though, the plants may need a little more water as well. If you have 40C temp, you should water more often than every 3 weeks. Weekly drinks during the growing and warm season is OK. No need to water during the pic temp as the plants shuts down but regular drink early morning will help your plants when they are in small pots with little soil like yours are.
