Help Choosing Staircase Lighting – Spanish Revivalist Meets Industrial

Morning,

I could really use some advice selecting new light fixtures for our staircase. I'm looking to spend $150 or less per fixture (I'll need two), and while I’ve found a couple of options I’m leaning toward, I’m not totally in love with either. Hoping a fresh set of eyes might help!

A bit about our space:

We live in the Midwest’s version of a Spanish Revivalist townhouse—think arched doorways and rows of small, narrow windows. The interior is still a work in progress, but I’ve been gravitating toward a mix of industrial, vintage, and academic influences—metal accents, books, and character pieces.

I’d love suggestions for lighting that complements both the architecture and the more layered style I’m building inside. Bonus points if it works well with the existing chandelier in the dining room.

Here are the two light fixtures I'm leaning towards, worry they're too "safe:

One last note: I’d prefer to avoid anything with crystal—beautiful, but I found out the hard way how expensive and frustrating it is to install.

Thanks in advance
