We used it yesterday, I never notice such thingsk but DH does and he liked the feel of it.

I washed it be hand and loving put it away in its own case. Fun fact, one of the knives is wrong. The blue is on the top instead of the bottom.

This really resonates with me. I always agonize over purchases (even when really the cost isn't that high) and I can think of several occasions where I held back (do I really need that? is it too expensive?) and regretted it. I cannot really think of occasions where I have really regretted the purchase, except maybe a handful of not that expensive sale clothing items.
