This is not a spoof, these people are actually at a Home Goods store. It’s manically funny.

I know many here have found amazing, wonderful things at HG. I never have, so this is more representative of my experience. But……….FUNNY!

SO FUNNY! I'm going to pass this one along to two of my sisters (and I'm going to have to look up the other HG videos). My third sister has a very nice home - however, A LOT of the artwork/decoration items/table lamps/etc. are from Home Goods. She is OBSESSED with that store!!

She also likes things with crystals/mirrors/large canvas art with heavily textured flowers/faux fur throw blankets/some of those "word" ceramic things (for example, a big ivory/white ceramic cookie jar that only has the word "Cookies" on it in big black letters) - she is very "girly" - I've always been a tom boy.

My other two sisters and I play this game when we're over at her house - we each will each pick one item out, and ask her, "Where did you get this?" at some point while we're there.

If the item is from Home Goods, you get one point - and if it's from some other store/retailer, you lose two points. We keep a running "score card" (on my oldest sister's phone) - I'm currently in the lead!

She hasn't caught on because we are very discreet about the way we do it - it's just funny because I took her to Home Goods for her first shopping spree (I had purchased a couple large woven baskets for my laundry room - and she wanted a couple) - and now she's become addicted to stopping by there whenever she's down south by us (there isn't one up by her house).

Dani, how fun! and the video is a hoot! and so true.

This is why I rarely venture into Home Goods, and even rarer that I venture beyond the dishware that is in the front right corner of my local one. I love china. But the store as a whole is just too visually overwhelming, like the time I was in NYC with DH giving me his whirlwind ”Elf” and "Hamilton" tour. We stopped by Times Square and I was good for about 15 seconds before I had to get out of there.

That is cracking me up! I’ve watched it 4 times and laugh at them laughing. I rarely go, and usually to browse thru because I’m bored and curious or to find a pack of paper cocktail napkins or some odd thing like that.
