Can you post a photo of a wide view of the house? It would be good to see the beam in context with the rest of the facade.
On my monitor it looks a little mauve but the the urn on the right looks mauve as well.

I would not be happy with that color. It looks pink and clashes with the orange tones of the garage door.

I would want it fixed and see samples to choose before doing the job.

I would say in general that it probably already matches some of the streaks in the door but, I would match the color to the general impression the door gives instead of one small part of it, since that doesn't seem to work.

I agree with what has been posted already by others - it looks too pink - your garage door has a lot of orange tones in it.

It appears that the beam has been painted vs. stained - is that correct? Maybe it's just a heavily pigmented stain? It would have looked better if the wood beam looked like stained wood vs. a painted beam.

Why painted instead of staining it? I agree, it needs help. But, it looks like you also have wood trim above your door in the far right of this picture. Are you trying to match that? We do need a pic of the whole front of your house. It is possible that the beam looks great with the rest of your house but you have to reconcile how it will look with the doors.

It will tone down a bit if you give it some time. All the trim on my home is a reddish hue and I’m always horrified when it’s first painted, but then it turns into the perfect color within a few months.

I'm sure you have used stain and not paint. It's always difficult to judge colours on a computer screen but it seems the dark beam matches some of the wood in the door. It will probably fade in time with the sun.
