Non Profit sobriety club

last month

We are in the process of having the bathroom stalls and walls painted at the club my husband attends. I need help picking colors. The building was built in 1990. The floor will not change and the sinks and countertops will also stay. The toilets and sinks are white. Please help me choose colors. There are 7 stalls

Maybe just a simple classic cream color to match the current wall color?

(I feel like black would be too intense, white will make the floor look dingy)

If not cream, then one of the darker colors in the tile. Either the red/brown or the darkest green.

Consider doing walls with Neutral Ground and the stall doors a darker shade like Mushroom or Balanced Beige. Get larger artwork for a splash of color.

I really hate beige so maybe a nice soft green could work and get some work on that horrible flourescent lighting , at least chnage the tubes to LED and replace the shades. Have a bit of fun with some art or posters too.

Thankfully we have an electrician replacing the lights to led fixtures. Room by room. It’s been a work of love getting this outdated building back to decent shape . If Green ?? What colors ? For walls and stalls. Send samples please . The rest of the club was filled with smoke stained walls and old furniture

Should the stalls be Darker than the walls. ? Wecsrevpainu

A sage green but it really needs to be chosen after the lighting is in and you might need to test a couple to get it right .I would look for the darker color for the stall doors and then cut that 50% for the walls

I think I would go a little more moody. Maybe a warm grey on the walls and a darl brown ( out of the floor) on the doors

    Here are some inspo pics

Or maybe even do a cool stripe on the doors or even stencils

I would consider grid lights for the ceiling. We have them in our showroom and they are so much nicer than square fluorescents

    Good luck! Great project!!

I just used the paint program to match the floor tile. It's not any specific color.

I tool a peak at SW paint colors. You would obviously have to get some of the paper samples first to bring into the room for proper matching. This is only using a computer image!

The grayish might be too gray? I put the green in because someone had mentioned it. The brown in the floor seems reddish in the picture so make sure the brown leans that way - you could go even darker.

Get to the paint store and grab some swatches!

You can also paint the drop ceiling

Honestly, The countertop looks like it is laminate suspended by legs of some sort. It wouldn't be that much to replace it with something a little richer in color. Might be a phase 2 of your project.

    Good luck

Yes I agree. The countertop could use a replacement . We have a brat fry every year the money we make helps us to remodel the club. eberybyearbandvthe mone

I decided to go with urbane bronze on the stalls and

accessible beige on the walls. The painter is fabulous

Thank you all for your nice words. I’m so happy with it. Thought it might be nice to put a picture in the stalls. So someone made these with AA and Alanon slogans. I ordered some more colorful frames. So I’m going to put them in the frames and hang them in each stall. It will help bring in some color
