Caulk for shower - 'GE Supreme Silicone caulk' or 'Mapesil T Plus'?

last modified: last month

Background: I need to re-caulk a travertine tile shower (wall joints and floor joints).

I know GE Supreme caulk will be easier to apply than Mapei's Mapesil T Plus caulk.

Both are silicone, but is GE really 100% silicone? (Mapesil T Plus is 100% silicone).

I want something durable, expandable (for joints) and mold-resistant. In that respect, is there a big difference between these 2 caulks? If not, the GE would be easier to apply.

Which would you pick - 'GE Supreme Silicone caulk' or 'Mapei Mapesil T Plus' caulk?

I need an Almond (or beige) color, so DAP brand caulk is not an option as it does not come in that color I believe.

Thanks for any advice!
