Those Spanx corduroys fit ridiculously well. I can't remember the last time I had such success with an online pants purchase.

WANTED: a no-iron denim or chambray shirt (preferably chambray). I love my denim/chambray shirts. Yes, that is plural. I have 3. But I am so tired of paying the cleaners a small mint to launder them. As you are perusing the various websites, please add a no-iron denim or chambray long-sleeved shirt to your mental list and let me know if you see one. Thanks!

ETA: no Lands’ End no-irons. I’ve got one. It goes to the cleaners.

Mtn I bought a jumpsuit! never like wearing them because of the trouble in the ladies room….but found one and it is amazing…the fit and structure fits perfect! my husband loves it…wearing it to a cocktail wedding reception on Friday….need a bit of advice from all you ladies…I think I want to add a belt….should it be a sash with maybe a bow, to soften it up a bit….or rhinestone buckle type belt?

lol looks very similar to mine.

Personally, I think a bow is wrong. Hair, jewelry, shoes, bag are where you can make it interesting. The style does not read "bow," which is why it does not have one!

I asked for an obi-type sash tied in the front. CGPT added a bow on its own. I like without better. And, I’m not crazy about the sash tails competing with the lines of the jacket hem

Bb, can’t you press your shirts with your flat iron? 🤣🤣🤣 Sorry.

Sueb, you are soooo bad! 😂 Actually, I do press the placket of the no-iron linen shirt with my flat iron.

BBstx, you are supporting small business and your local economy by sending your shirts out. I tell myself that every time I put on a tee shir that has been perfectly ironed in a mangle 😎

I’d like to tell myself that. Unfortunately, the only game in town uses ”mangle” as a verb rather than a noun!

LOVE LOVE the black jumpsuit! It has a lot of style to it:

Nicole…it really is a wonderful jumpsuit…it is so flattering on..I love it! really like it with the belt..and actually like the bow sash bbstx posted..I would adjust the tails to mimick the asymmetrical line of the jacket and would like them longer. Mtn totally get your point but I feel like it needs something? I will be wearing simple jewlery…thank you for the suggestions and photos it really helps.

Have to ask, have you tried it on with statement heels, a bag, jewelry, etc?

When I did that with mine (which is slightly different from yours, both the skirt part and the neckline) I found it looked best without anything.

I am sitting here tapping my foot for my Sezanne jacket, my siberian Army jacket, a heated throw, and my Maguire print. WTH is going on all of a sudden? Honestly I can't wait more than 3 days for anything anymore!

I am glad you brought up LE .. I keep running into things that link me to their site. Also, I havent found a good turtleneck (like the Skyr's of our youth). I tend not to buy from them but I have a 25 yo cashmere cable cardigan sweater from them that I loooooved and still looks ok! I will give them a try again.

In other news ... my love for Marla was sparked again with an email today. I love the top bracelet! I can't really imagine putting a 4k lock on a string but it works! I also like the one on the bottom but the pink one is just so me.

Ooh i love it too!! link please?

Speaking of MA, I ordered my new chain yesterday! I am going to stop now.

Would love to see your MA pieces, Sue. Funky, were you surprised at the string/cord prices?

    YES!!!

But apparently they are made with some special and super strong material. I dont remember the details as I fell asleep watching instagram last night. LOL.

I like the wrapped chain bracelets too ;)

I like that look, too. A little bada**. The engraved lock and cord set is so beautiful and so $$$. I do kinda love the string look with any of the locks - speaks to the old hippie girl in me!

Right?! I totally agree (with everything)

Ruby, I have this lock in the baby size

And the oxidized silver chain with gold loops. (They were a 35th anniversary gift from DH.)

I wanted a more ”matchy” chain so I ordered this. I think I will wear this more.

I would love a bracelet and at least one more lock.

Beautiful lock Sue! And I really like both chains - gives you two different looks.

    I'm feeling very, very influenced...

    ohhhhh ..

I really like this kind of jewelry that can be interchangeable, if that makes sense. MA chains and locks can be mixed and matched, charms can be used with necklaces (in different lengths, metals, etc) or bracelets, from casual or edgy to shiny and dressed up. Now if they would only have a half-price sale!!

I have liked Waxing Poetic jewelry for that reason, too. Easy to play with different chains and charms. Pandora is still around too, but I never liked them as much. I actually thought they were long gone, and was surprised to see there is a store at the mall near me.

PS speaking of the mall, I never go there, but I decided to do my returns there and browse a bit. I wandered around several stores and didn’t find anything I liked! Our Nordstrom‘s women’s dept is pathetic now. They don’t have a petites section any more, and neither does J. Crew. Talbots, yuck. I almost went into Chico’s and took a selfie for Mtn but couldn’t do it.

I may or may not have sent DH screenshots of several different MA locks, saying one could easily fit in a christmas stocking…

I love the interchangeability too -- and love the look with layers of pieces. It is just such an easy elegance. I really need to organize my photos-- but I found a few more inspo pics this morning.

My plan has been to go to the studio (4 min from Mtn's office) for my first one. it is too hard to tell the size of the chains and also, I have large hands so I really kind of want to see them on. I have been thinking bracelet first. The wrap style may not look great on my big bony hands and wrist but they always catch my eye.

Sue, I haven't been to a mall in ages -- I dont even bother here. We have so few stores-- Macys and Boscovs are the best it gets. I was in Nordstrom at the Mall of America last December (I forgot my makeup lol) and I couldnt walk the mall. The lights, crowds and glass railings set off my vertigo/depth perception issues and a panic attack. I dont usually react so strongly--but the mall and the crowds really kicked it off. I thought J was going to have a panic attack just trying to navigate me back out through the mall/nordstrom to get to the car before I wigged out. LOL

I have added 2 more sweaters to the return pile .. I think I am going to just stop looking. I want to check out a few things at LE on your recommendation, Sue .. and I am considering 2 at Tuckernuck. then that's it.

Of course, I have said I wasnt going to shop at least 5x in the last 2 months!

I would love to shop MA in person but the store is available by appointment only. I fear I would get in there and lose any tenuous hold I might have on my money! But I am sure it would be a fun experience - we will need a report from the field if Funky or Mtn go.

Mtn, you could also walk to the store in Boston that carries MA jewelry!

I have an appointment at the NY one since they have all the inventory there.

Pls take a video of your shopping experience and share it here, thank you.

I ordered my chain on Monday afternoon and it is being delivered today. I will have to plan my Thanksgiving outfit around my necklace.

Ummm yall are going to make me look like such a dork. Like more of a dork.

.How do you post a video anyway? And I certainly don’t know how to edit one.

I love picturing Mtn filming in the store and explaining that it is for her online buds 😎 I don’t think you can post a video directly from your own library; they must be in youtube or vimeo format. You can create your own channel (private and unsearchable) on either platform, upload your video and then post to GW.

Quick thank you to @maire_cate! I received my gloves from Bloomies today and they fit perfectly. A lot of times when I get gloves that fit my hands, the fingers are too long -- these are perfect! I ordered both the black and the cammello.

UPS just dropped my new gloves off too— they are very nicely made and a beautiful dark gray that can pass as black. I prefer charcoal gray to jet black, especially accessories, as I think they are versatile and a softer look. Thank you for posting about the Bloomingdale’s sale Maire Cate!

My very first thought was Window Treatment.

I got this cardigan the other day. It is that sort of ”fuzzy” cashmere that seems to be trending this year. I have a glittery bright pink tee and wanted a black sweater to wear with it on NYE. This is super soft and cozy! I am tempted to get one in another color. (I am showing the gray but mine is black.) It runs a little big.

Also, I got the red shoes for the red dress and they fit well. All set for ❤️ wedding.

Funky and Kswl - happy to hear the gloves worked for you. I even ordered a pair for DD for Christmas as a stocking gift.

Sub - I wonder if the brushed cashmere will be less prone to pilling? I think I finally have to order an electric fabric shaver and hope they work as well as all the videos.

I wasn’t sure if I’d like the, well, ”texture”? But I do!

PS this is my sparkly tee. It leans more pink than it appears here, I think.
