Would help to see the entire home and possibly a closer up view as opposed to a drone with landscaping blocking half the house. And being your a GC, what exactly are you looking to do and what's your angle here?

I think the primary colors will be the bigger drivers of the visual shift. It's well landscaped now.

@millworkman @Windows on Washington Ltd Hi there thanks for the time - personal project, just revamping the siding, possibly adding some stone and installing new windows/wondering about placement. Want to emphasize the entry a bit more. Small family-run business doing largely interior renos. Here are a few more photos that hopefully give a better view.

OK, tough to say on window placement as we have zero idea on the interior layout, where the windows are and where windows can actually be placed. What is the siding currently? What do you plan to replace it with? In my honest opinion, definitely no stone.

@millworkman some kind of poor vinyl. Was just looking for any creativity here from an aesthetic perspective. Why no stone? Was thinking by the bottom half of garage mixed with some kind of hardie siding

I hate stone on horizontal houses. It always makes them look striped. It's a nice house in a blah color. The current landscaping distracts from the smaller windows, so I'd only change them if you need more interior light or views.

@Sigrid thanks for the feedback! ya'll are really making me second guess the stone. have been looking at a lot of danish homes for siding inspiration as well, but then the carport also leaves me stumped. we deff need to replace the windows as most of them are foggy and we need more light in bedrooms especially.

Especially lick and stick type just thrown here and there, that never looks good. What is a Danish home and did they actually have carports?
