Exterior paint color - Florida home - just purchased

Trying desperately to create a calm, coastal exterior to this home. I am fine with replacing plants, changing driveway, etc....just want to begin with painting. Any suggestions so appreciated...I love organic vibe decor. This house is rough but think could be beautiful if I do the right things, thank you!

Please try to post a picture that isnt so blurry, its hard to look at.

Yes, post a better pic. I think you need better landscaping, but it's hard to tell from that blur. Besides, flag and palm moving with wind doesn't read calm to me.

Can't see much, but whatever color you chose for the house, paint the garage door to match. Garage doors are not meant to be a focal point!

I would drive around the area and see what others have done. You may get some inspiration there!

Definitely go light in a tropical setting so light bounces off the house.

Can we assume the exterior is stucco? Here's a coastal color that might look good on your home.

With alot of concrete out front, I'd choose a green or blue to compliment the roof, and contrast the concrete. It will look bright/lighter outdoors in the bright light. Sample in all light around the clock, and paint the entry door a bright color like a geranium red.

Congrats....wish I were there. Cold and windy on Cape Cod.

Light gray with the gray roof would be my choice of paint color. I would keep shutters on the two windows, but not on the little window. If it is in the budget get authentic shutters with the appropriate hardware as it is a good investment to "get the look". Paint color for shutters go white.

Don't forget to refresh the white trim.

Maybe a better picture less blurry It is hard to even tell what color it is now and why it needs painting. Gray does not say coastal to me but are you on the coast ?The house looks calm as it is but a better pic is needed. Waht color is your roof ? Waht is the siding? A new to you house is always wanting to be more you but IMO too soon to decide . Maybe the inside will need some work to get right and that might have an effect on the outside . Slow down and think before doing major anything in a new to you home . 6 months is good time frame .

Other than paint, I would replace the front walks with flagstone to soften the look. Replace the shrubs with low mounding flowers.

If you use the circular drive, plant low mounding greenery along the perimeter on the street side to camo it. You have a few already started.

It’s a big decision and commitment and suggest, if you haven’t already, driving around and also look on line. You’ll soon realize what appeals to you.

It’s important to also consider your roof and I like the idea of white on the house and add warmth elsewhere. Remember landscaping will play a big part.
