Is this the best layout for the furniture? You will be looking at the TV sideways. Post a picture of the entire room. I would get a rug for the area. Make sure it is large enough. Tape the sizes out with painters tape to see which size works best. A TV console at 25% wider than the TV. You may need a larger TV. Love the floor.

So many options! I rarely say this, but a bigger TV might be more proportional to the space you have. I have a Samsung Frame TV and I like the slim profile, digital art when not watching TV and aftermarket picture frame to finish it off.

Not suggesting you do a built-in, but you could, if you need storage and display space.

Select a wall hung media cabinet and get a larger TV screen.
