It's hard to look at these fixtures when they're turned on. Perhaps you should consider sconces that shine up and down and not out through the face of the fixture.

Why sconces at all It is a bit confusing to see what you have for tose and what appears to be a very country style entry . I need more info please it is pretty easy to eliminate the electrical for the wall sconces and do some over head lighting which IMO would make more sense

In narrow walls or in passageways, one guidebook says “opt for slim fixtures that protrude 4″ or less from the wall” so the hallway doesn’t feel cramped or so that people don’t bump into them Since you have a layout with the sconce beside a door and along a wall with a mirror, a shallow depth will help keep the visual plane clean and avoid awkward shadow edges.

Thank you all for the assistance. I’m also thinking about having a different sconce by the main door to outside, but have the same them/materials to the sconces aling the ”main wall.” Thoughts?

there are all sorts of slim profile wall sconces to choose from. Many come in white and black, but can be painted to suit.

Do you need a lot of light or directional light? I think with your low ceiling, I would look for down lights to wash the wall, rather than light the ceiling too.
