I need to see your space and the issues with privacy . Then you get suggestions . Most films that give you nightime privacy will block the day time light . usually I use solar shades for daytime they allow light and let you keep the view but at night I use drapes for privacy.

Silhouette shades are a nice way to get privacy without blocking natural light.
